Biographical entry Krome, Otto George Hermann Dittmar (1863 - 1917)
Otto Krome was an original member of the Wallaby Club, joining in 1894 and remaining a member until 1915, close to his death. In 1897 he was appointed Co-Headmaster with L.A. Adamson, of University High School. In 1906 he became Headmaster of the Methodist Ladies College in Kew. One of the 'houses' at the school takes his name.

A Private Club
The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
