Biographical entry Pennefather, R.W.
R. Pennefather joined the Wallaby Club in its founding year 1894 but did not continue his membership beyond 1896. He was a barrister and politician. He was appointed as an acting Judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria and later elected to the Western Australian Parliament where he served as Attorney General.

The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
