Biographical entry Moloney, P. (1843 - 1904)
Dr P. Moloney joined the Wallaby Club in 1895 but let his membership lapse in 1896. In 1867 he was one of the first two graduates [M.B. (Melb)] from the Medical School of the University of Melbourne - the first medical school in Australia. He was a physician at St Vincent's Hospital and then at the Melbourne Hospital. Furthermore, he was an author, poet and classical scholar. He left Australia for good in 1897 aged 52.

A Private Club
The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
