Biographical entry Nanson, E.
Professor E. Nanson joined the Wallaby Club in 1896 and held his membership through to 1897. He was President in 1897. Nanson was Professor of Mathematics at the University of Melbourne and wrote many mathematical papers on electoral reform. He was the father-in-law of Dr F.H. Meyer.

The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
