Biographical entry Wrixon, Henry J.
Sir Henry Wrixon joined the Wallaby Club in 1899 and maintained his membership until 1905. He was a barrister (Queens Council) and a politician. His notable roles included those of Victorian Attorney General, President of the Victorian Legislative Council and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne (1897-1910).

A Private Club
The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
