Biographical entry Robinson, Gresham
Gresham Robinson joined the Wallaby Club in 1902 and maintained his membership until 1927. He was an educationist and held a number of influential positions including Principal of Carlton College 1893-1901, Headmaster of St Thomas' Grammer School, Moonee Ponds 1910-1934, and Headmaster of Essendon Grammar School 1934-1937. Robinson was an early proponent of the teaching of Australian history.

The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
