Regarding is Presidency 1928-1929: 'Scott was succeeded in 1928 by another Sir Ernest (though at the time he was Mr.) Wreford, General Manager and later Chairman of Directors of the national Bank of Australasia, and the Dinner Card blossomed with "overdrafts," "bills of lading," "liquid assets," and other unfamiliar high-financial flowers of speech.'
