Biographical entry Apperley, F.L.
Professor F. Apperley joined the Wallaby Club in 1925 and maintained his membership until 1933. He was a pathologist and a Senior Lecturer in Pathology at the University of Melbourne until his appointment as the Professor of Pathology at the Medical College of Virginia, USA. He was also a Rhodes Scholar.
Regarding his membership: In 1925 . . . 'F.L. Apperley, a Rhodes Scholar and pathologist, another new member, was a good walker, but resigned in 1933, when he accepted the Professorship of Pathology in the University of Virginia.'
