- diplomat, engineer and public servant
Brigadier W. Chapman joined the Wallaby Club in 1949 and maintained his membership until his death in 1956. He was an engineer, a Commissioner of the State Electricity Commission of Victoria, and Director of the Civil Engineering Department of Transport [Federal?]. He served in both World War I and World War II and was the Consul for Greece in Melbourne.
