Biographical entry Brownbill, E.H.
E. Brownbill joined the Wallaby Club in 1952 and maintained his membership until 1978. He was elected President in 1960. He was an engineer and Chairman of the Victorian Railways Commissioners. He introduced the blue carriages to suburban railways - they were know as Brownbill Trains. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in World War II.

A Private Club
The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
