Biographical entry Garran, R.R. ( - 1991)
R. Garran joined the Wallaby Club in 1961 and maintained his membership until his death in 1991. He was elected President in 1969. He was a chemist and a Factory Manager and Staff Manager with ICI Ltd[?]. He gave exceptional service to the Royal Society of Victoria. He was a son of Sir Robert Garran.

The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
