Summary

Dr Bob Vines joined the Wallaby Club in 1986. He was elected President in 1996 and was Editor of Card in 1995. He was a Senior Principal Research Scientist in several divisions of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and worked with them from 1940 till 1986. Amongst a variety of other activities, he spent some time on research into the behaviour of bushfires.
