Dr George Doery joined the Wallaby Club in 1991 and remained an active member up until his death in 2011. He was Walks Secretary 1998-2001. He trained in medicine, graduating MBBS from the University fo Melbourne in 1949, worked as a medical practitioner and was a Board member of the Boreham Hospital and of the Hedley Sutton Home for the Aged.
