Professor Rod Home joined the Wallaby Club in 1992. He was elected President in 2007 and was the Club Historian and Archivist from 1996 to 2006. He trained as a physicist and in the history of science. He was the inaugural Professor of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Melbourne, 1975-2003. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Humanities and a member of the International Academy of the History of Science.
