Summary

E. Flynn joined the Wallaby Club in 2001 but only maintained his membership until 2002. He was a chemical engineer and worked at the BHP Port Kembla Steelworks (1940-1958) where for the last seven years he was Chief Combustion Engineer. He was subsequently Chief Engineer of DeHaviland's Blue Streak Project (1959-1960) and the worked with CRA Ltd (1960-1978) in various roles including Assistant Chief of the Engineering Division; General Manager of Rio Tinto Brick company; Chief Engineer for the feasibility and design stages of the Bouganville copper Mine; and Technical Manager for Hamersley Iron.
