Biographical entry Doery, Edward Keith (1927 - 2005)
Edward Doery joined the Wallaby Club in 2002 and maintained his membership until his death in 2005. He was a Certified Public Accountant (Fellow) and Managing director of a heavy engineering company for twenty five years. His other roles included Chief Executive Officer of the Child Accident Prevention Foundation for five years; Business Manager for the Department of General Practice at Monash University; and Trustee of the Combined Schools Superannuation Fund for twenty years and Chairman of their Legal Committee. He was also an active member of the Old Geelong College Association. He had attended Geelong Colelge as a boarder from 1939 to 1945 and was a School Prefect in his final year.

A Private Club
The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
