Summary

Professor Ian Plimer joined the Wallaby Club in 2004 and resigned in 2009. He trained in geology and was appointed Professor of Geology at the University of Melbourne. His earlier academic appointments included: Professor, Ludwig Maximilans University, Munich (1991); Professor, University of Newcastle (1985-1990); Senior Lecturer, University of New England (1983-1985); Senior Research Geologist, North Broken Hill Ltd (1979-1983); Lecturer, W.S. and L.B. Robinson University College, [where?] (1974-1979); and Senior Tutor, Macquarie University (1969-1973).
