Biographical entry Kennedy, Max
Max Kennedy joined the Wallaby Club in 2004. He was elected to the Wallaby Committee in 2009. He was trained as a mechanical and production engineer. He was involved in transport and earthmoving fleet operation and procurement with the old PMG; industrial engineering consultancy, headed the materials quality assurance group and project managed the installation of engineering services in new major buildings, including computer centres, for Telecom (now Telstra). His interests include Australian plants and gardens, travel, theatre, good food and tending to his wine collection. He has also been President, since 1993, of Victoria's largest Film Society.

A Private Club
The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
