Biographical entry Chuck, Alan K.
Alan Chuck joined the Wallaby Club in 2011. He graduated in Civil Engineering at Monash University in 1974, and took a further diploma in Arbitration in England. His first job post-graduation was at the Thomson Dam site in Gippsland, where he enjoyed walks around Walhalla in his spare time. He is now a freelance engineer, Chartered Arbitrator and Adjudicator, having developed his career in Australia, England, China, Papua New Guinea and Hong Kong and has resolved a burgeoning number of contractual disputes en route. He is also a sessional member of Planning Panels Victoria and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Alan's many other interests include piano, pipe organ, choral singing and several volunteer organisations.

The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
