Frank Dyett joined the Wallaby Club in 2010.He was appointed a judge of the County Court in 1978 after 20 years in practice as a barrister at the Victorian Bar. He served for 27 years on the County Court Bench, including a short period as Acting Chief Judge in 2001 until statutory retirement at 72 in 2005 and subsequently as an Acting County Court Judge until the end of 2007. Frank was also a Chairman of the Victorian Workers' Compensation Board in 1979-80 and a Deputy Chairman of the Racing Appeals Tribunal 2008 until The Victorian Civil and Administrative replaced this Tribunal in February 2010. He was then appointed a senior sessional member of VCAT for a further 5 years to hear racing appeals in the 3 racing codes (thoroughbred, harness and greyhound).

The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
