Biographical entry McManus, Kerry. J.
Brigadier Kerry McManus joined the Wallaby Club in 2011. He has been involved in engineering consulting, the education of engineers, academic administration and the Australian Army Reserve for a period exceeding forty years. On retirement, he held the position of Deputy Head of the School of Engineering and Science at Swinburne University of Technology as Associate Professor. He is a former State Chairman of Engineers Australia. He served in the Army Reserve reaching the rank of Brigadier. He was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in 1991. He holds the Reserve Force Decoration (RFD), the National Medal and the Defence Medal.

The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
