- pharmacologist and toxicologist
Dr Colin Roberts joined the Wallaby Club in 2010. Colin was educated at the Royal Pinner Schools, Chelsea College, University College Hospital, Birmingham Medical School and the Royal Veterinary College. He then joined Bradford University teaching pharmacology and toxicology. Recruited by the Huntingdon Research Centre, he was a co-founder of Life Science Research becoming Deputy Managing Director, then Director of Pacific Operations for APBI, relocating to Melbourne. Colin was an Expert pharmacologue-toxicologue agréé, République Français; Senior Technical Counsellor, Bio-Safety Research Centre for Foods, Drugs and Pesticides, Shizuoka, Japan; President ILSI Australasia; President Australia New Zealand Environmental Mutagen Society. His work concerned international R&D, product registration and regulatory science, resulting in some fifty papers. Colin is also a member of the Victoria Welsh Choir.

A Private Club
The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
