- neonatal intensive care specialist
Dr Neil Roy joined the Wallaby Club in 2011. He is a medical specialist in intensive care of the newborn at the Royal Women's Hospital 1975-2007, including Director of Newborn Services 1995-2007. Founding Director of the Newborn Emergency Transport Service (NETS) - Victoria's statewide "flying squad" for sick newborn infants 1976-99. Director of Newborn Services at both the Women's and Children's Hospitals 1995-2003. Newborn Adviser to the Victorian Maternity and Newborn Clinical Network 2008-11. Neil is currently on the Board of the Royal Women's Hospital Foundation. He has special interests in the organisation of newborn services, hospital design and early mother-infant attachment. He is a keen golfer and choral singer.

The Wallaby Club is a Melbourne-based walking club established in 1894 with a strong bias towards good fellowship, talking and an appreciation of both the natural and built environments. Membership is strictly limited and is by invitation only.
